Job description

As a Diagnostic Technician, you are responsible for identifying, analysing and resolving technical vehicle issues.

Diagnosis & repairs

  • Reading and analysing fault codes using diagnostic tools
  • Troubleshooting electrical and electronic issues
  • Performing targeted technical repairs
  • Checking systems after repair

Technical support

  • Assisting colleagues with complex technical problems
  • Advising on required repairs
  • Contributing to efficient technical solutions

Quality control

  • Testing vehicles after repairs
  • Checking technical performance and safety
  • Reporting technical findings

Education & experience

  • Automotive technical education or equivalent through experience
  • Several years of experience as an automotive technician or diagnostic technician
  • Experience with electrical and electronic vehicle systems
  • Minimum requirement: HEV1 certificate (working safely on hybrid and electric vehicles)
  • Experience with diagnostic equipment is a strong advantage
